The Parish Council commissioned a condition survey of the War Memorial to inform possible ways forward for its repair and maintenance. A copy of the survey report can be found here. At its meeting on 16 September 2021 the Parish Council decided that the architect’s report should be published on the council website in case a resident or group of residents wishes to raise funds and commission any work identified within the report. Such an approach would be consistent with the manner in which the memorial was originally built.
